Wedding Ceremonies
Reserve Mystic Independent Theater for your wedding ceremony! If you are looking for an intimate space to get married with 46 guests or fewer, the theater may be perfect for you. If you are planning a reception at a restaurant or facility in Southeastern Connecticut, or if you have a Minister or Justice of the Peace for your ceremony, the theater is a great option. We're located right on the water overlooking a cove, and have 144 parking spaces. Your wedding party will look spectacular photographed on our beautiful lawn.
View of the cove from theater ramp. Daytime Rates Daytime Weddings may be held in the theater for full day rental of $500.00 if held between 9am and 5pm. Additional cleaning fees apply if food or beverages are served. Dinner is not recommended in the theater. For more info and policies, please download our Reservation Package for Private Events here. On your wedding day, no other events will be held in the theater so that you may set up decorations, take photographs on the premises and have uninterrupted use of the facility. The theater will be available to the wedding party for a total of 8 hours. Evening Rates If your wedding takes place in the evening, a minimum of a 4-hour rental fee of $450 is required. The theater is available to the wedding party for a total of 4 hours, with an additional 1-hour set-up and ½ hour breakdown (5 ½ hours total). If more time is required, the fee will go up proportionately according to our evening rates. Additional cleaning fees apply if food or beverages are served. Please see our form above for more details. The theater is not recommended for wedding receptions requiring dinner. Food and beverages must be approved by theater staff prior to theater reservation. The theater is located at Quiambaug Cove Professional Suites, situated on five acres with a beautiful water view, located off of Route 1 in Stonington, Connecticut, 3 miles from I-95, Exits 90 and 91. We are located one mile east of Mystic, (http://www.mysticchamber.org/) and several miles from Stonington Borough (http://www.stoningtonboroughct.com/). We are near many outstanding restaurants that would be perfect for a reception following.
